Something for everyone at Gwydir Libraries no matter where you live.

gwydir-library-logoGwydir Public Library service have recently become a member of the Central Northern Regional Library (CNRL) giving Gwydir residents access to a much larger and broader range of library resources. New developments in the delivery of library service allow residents greater access to collections, on-line resources and programs for every age group no matter where they live.

New members can join on-line at www.cnl.nsw.gov.au to gain access to whole regional collection plus much more including free downloads, reference libraries, large font books, talking books, music, eBooks.

Membership to the Central Northern Regional Library is FREE.
Visit one of our branches to enjoy the use of free WIFI and numerous public access computers, printing facilities (at cost) or participate in one of the many programs our branches deliver.

Remote Access Customers 
The library offers a Mail Order Service. Books can be reserved on-line and delivered or mailed to any Shire resident who becomes a member of the Library.

  • Toddler Tales10 minutes a day for parents and infants to introduce their children to the world of reading.

Young Children (Kindy to Year 6)

  • Homework & project assistance available at both libraries.
  • School project researching can be assisted by simply emailing the details to our dedicated email address gwydirlibraries@gmail.com and one of our branches will assist children in remote areas with research into school projects and homework.
