NSW Post Office and Country Directory, 1904 Blacksmith- Samuel Robertson; Forwarding agents- Wright Heaton and Co.; Hotel- Railway (Daniel McInerny); Refreshment rooms- Jas. McManus; Store- Edward Atkins. C.E. Williams was also a builder and contractor in Gravesend in July 1909 and his address was Warialda Railway. He built many of the homes in the village and was still there in April 1911. In November 1916, he gave his address as Geddes Street, Warialda. By February 1910, G.E. Moore conducted the Railway Store and sold diverse products including drapery, groceries, boots and shoes.
