The Warialda and District Bridge Club was formed in 2007, and is a small and friendly club of about twenty members who meet at the Warialda HACC Centre in Hope Street every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to play duplicate bridge.
Bridge isn't just about playing cards - it's about having fun in a relaxing, social environment.
The club has a reputation for its delicious suppers and is a member of the NSW Bridge Association and the Australian Bridge Federation.
What is Duplicate Bridge? A card game where the same hand is played at least twice, by different players, under the same conditions. It was designed to counter the obstacle of a run of good cards determining the outcome, rather than skill. The object of the play is not to amass the largest number of points, but to play the hands better than the other people who play them.
Visitors most welcome.
