Men's Shed Co-ordinator, Garth Skinner, volunteers his time to coordinate the Men's Shed meetings which happen every Tuesday morning from 8.00am to 12.00pm at the Gwydir Learning Region Shed in Stephen St, Warialda (near the Council Depot).

The project was originally a Men's Health initiative which began when Garth Skinner and Rod Smith attended the National Men's Shed Conference in 2007. They then gained the support of Warialda's community groups who all agreed that the project was worthwhile and would have a positive impact on the community. Approximately 20 interested men attended the first meeting and the group has gone from strength to strength since then.

The Men's Shed in Warialda was established in 2007 to provide the men of the community with a venue where they can meet socially and work on projects together. You can participate in hands on projects such as those listed below or a simple social time where you can do anything from drink cups of tea all morning to playing cards.
